Sponsored Swim - 26th September 2009
Hannah Gagen, a member of South East London & West Kent IA,
took part in the Great East Swim at Alton Water, near Ipswich,
Suffolk, on 26th September 2009 to raise funds for IA. The one-mile swim was
in open
water.

The 21Kay Appeal

Shropshire and District IA member Kay Shinton, whose ileo-anal
pouch
is set to celebrate its 21st birthday, has launched 'The 21Kay Appeal' aiming to
raise £21,000 for 21 years of care which has kept her, and continues to keep her,
alive. Money raised will go towards buying diagnostic equipment for the detection
of bowel cancer and other serious bowel conditions.
